Red Leather

Happy Fashion Month babes! The summer is slowly coming to an end and I'm super excited about the fall season. Since Texas stays warm for a while I'll still be serving some summer looks until it cools down!

This look was inspired by my desire to style this skirt! I tried it on and instantly fell in love. The gold zipper on the side and tulip detail on the bottom had me sold. As if I wasn't already swooning, I checked the price tag and it was only $15! I bought it from the Magnificent Mile Zara in Chicago. This crop top is one of my favorites from one of my favorites, Forever 21

Shopping tip: When traveling, always leave room in your bag for one to three items just in case you find a few items you like on your trip. I packed light for my trip when I bought this skirt and had just enough room for it in my carry on! :)

As for my shoes, I wanted to try a DIY project on a worn pair of mules so I decided to put sequin on them. These shoes are definitely one of a kind and a conversation starter to say the least. DIY projects not only give you the opportunity to be innovative but it's always a great feeling to be complimented on something YOU created. Watch how I did them here:
